Our TV bracket installation service can supply and install many different types of flat screen tv brackets.

Which TV wall mount is right for you?

Choose from -
Flat TV bracket, standard bracket used for mounting TV's flat to the wall as tight as possible for the cleanest look.
Tilting TV bracket is the same as a flat bracket, it will be very close to the wall with adjustable tilt, normally used when mounting the TV higher on the wall.
Cantilever TV bracket is normally used when wall mounting TV brackets in the corner of a room, or where the TV will need to swivel in different directions.
Ceiling mounted TV bracket are utilised when wall space is at a premium or mostly in commercial or custom situations.

Can have my TV bracket installed on any wall?

yes we can mount most TV brackets to all types of walls (stud & plasterboard, brick etc) using the correct brackets and fixings. In certain situations of extremely heavy TV's we will advise you on the use of the correct bracket type.

What height should I mount my TV bracket?

flat screen mount service in brixhamThe height that a TV is wall mounted on a bracket is dependant on 3 major factors,
1. The height of your eyeline when seated, aim if possible to keep your  eyeline height within the confines of the TV to avoid an un natural viewing angle and resultant strained neck.
2. Any furniture that will be below the TV or more commonly any decorative items placed on shelves or fireplaces below.
3. Personal preference, the above points are guidance, ultimately its down to your taste. You have the final say how high the TV is placed.

How can I hide the cables?

There is always going to be cables associated with the installation of flat screen wall brackets, whether its power cable, aerial, audio leads, dvd, set top boxes or consoles.
This is one of the major considerations of making a neat job, our tv bracket installation service always takes this into account, that's why we carry long power, aerial and AV leads on board. This ensures that the TV can go where it needs to regardless of cable length.
To hide the cables there is a choice of
1. Trunking - This is the cheapest and least intrusive option, we simply attach the correct size trunking to the wall and route the cables neatly inside. Trunking is available in different profiles, for most wall mounts I recommend d-line or semi circular trunking as it blends to the wall better. Trunking is available in black or white, and the edges can be caulked to hide any shadow gap to take it to the next level.
2. Wall chasing - Chasing entails cutting a hole in the wall with specialist tools and bedding the cables into the wall before filling over them. This is a more intrusive option but certainly makes for the neatest possible TV bracket installation.
3. Stud wall only - on stud walls we can thread the cables inside of the wall void and finish the holes neatly with a specialist wall plate.

Can my soundbars also be wall mounted?

Yes we can mount soundbars as part of our wall mount service, however not all soundbars have the correct fitting to allow them to be wall mounted, but most do.
Soundbars will normally come with their own brackets or have lugs for wall mounting so they can be installed above or below the TV.
When your soundbar is installed with a cantilever bracket you wouldnt want to TV to swivel but not the soundbar, thats why we use a specialist mount to hang the soundbar tight underneath the TV so that the whole system swivels together.
